आगरा। सरकारी कर्मचारियों के साथ न्यूनतम इंटरमीडिएट की अर्हता रखने वाले विद्यार्थी सेंट जोंस कॉलेज से 13 क्षेत्रीय भाषाएं निशुल्क सीख सकते हैं। प्रवेश फार्म के लिए भी कोई शुल्क नहीं देना है। फॉर्म भरने की आखिरी तारीख 31 अक्तूबर निर्धारित की गई है।
सेंट जोंस कॉलेज में भारतीय भाषाओं के शिक्षण के लिए प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से केंद्र स्थापित किया गया है। केंद्र के निदेशक व कॉलेज के प्राचार्य प्रो. एसपी सिंह के मुताबिक क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं के अंशकालिक शिक्षण के लिए वर्ष 2004 में केंद्र स्थापित किया गया था। वाराणसी, प्रयागराज, मुरादाबाद व लखनऊ के बाद यह पांचवां केंद्र है। उन्होंने बताया कि सभी 13 भाषाओं में प्रवेश के लिए फार्म निशुल्क है। केंद्र में तमिल, तेलगू, मलयालम, कन्नड़, बंगाली,गुजराती, मराठी, उड़िया, कश्मीरी, पंजाबी, सिंधी, नेपाली व असमिया भाषाओं की निशुल्क शिक्षा दी जाएगी।
प्रत्येक भाषा का शिक्षण कार्य शुरू करने के लिए कम से कम 10 विद्यार्थियों का पंजीकरण होना जरूरी है। अधिकतम 25 को प्रवेश दिया जाएगा। शिक्षण कार्य शाम 5 से 7 बजे तक होगा। प्रवेश में सरकारी कर्मचारियों को वरीयता दी जाएगी। 31 अक्तूबर तक फॉर्म भरे जा सकते हैं। कॉलेज से प्रवेश फार्म प्राप्त किया जा सकता है। प्रवेश के संबंध में जानकारी के लिए केंद्र की सह निदेशिका डॉ. सूसन वर्गीज पी. से इन नंबरों- 9259431186 व 9359520134 पर संपर्क किया जा सकता है। ब्यूरो
